How It Works

1

Book Online or Call

Pick a time using the calendar above or call (855) 755-1312. Next-day appointments are routinely available — many patients are seen within 1–2 days.

2

Visit Our Clifton, NJ Office

Bring your passport and vaccination records. The exam itself takes about 30 minutes and includes a physical exam, blood draw for TB and STI screening, and vaccination review. Dr. Weiss completes the I-693 in the same visit — no follow-up needed.

842 Clifton Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013 · Mon–Thu 9am–5pm, Fri 9am–3pm

3

Receive Your Sealed I-693

Lab results are ready in 5–7 business days. Once complete, we seal your I-693 in a USCIS-compliant envelope and notify you for pickup or mailing. A form signed on or after November 1, 2023 has no calendar expiration date, but under USCIS policy effective June 11, 2025 it is valid only for the application it is filed with — so it is best completed in step with your filing.

Booking Your Exam — Common Questions

How do I book an immigration medical exam appointment?

Pick a day in the scheduler above, choose a time, and enter your details. It takes about 60 seconds and your appointment is confirmed straight away rather than being held for a callback. If you would rather book by phone, or you have questions first, call or text (855) 755-1312.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Next-day appointments are routinely available, and the scheduler shows every time we have open — including same-day slots when they come up. You are seeing real availability, not a request form. If you are working to an attorney's filing deadline, tell us when you book and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

Can I book one appointment for my whole family?

Yes. We routinely handle families applying together, and scheduling everyone in one visit is usually simpler for everybody. Requirements vary by age — tuberculosis screening begins at age two, while syphilis and gonorrhea testing apply only within specific adult age ranges — so a child's exam is often shorter than an adult's. Tell us the ages when you book, or call or text (855) 755-1312, and we will arrange the visit accordingly.

What do I need to bring on the day of my appointment?

Bring an unexpired government-issued photo ID — your passport is ideal, a driver's license also works. Bring any vaccination or immunization records you have, in any language; complete records can spare you repeat vaccines. If you already have Form I-693, bring it unsigned, because you must sign it in front of the civil surgeon. Bring a list of any medications you take, and documentation of any prior positive TB test or treatment for a chronic condition. Incomplete records are not a reason to delay booking — our team will guide you through what is needed.

How much will I pay at the appointment, and how do I pay?

The exam is a flat $599, which covers the physical examination, all required bloodwork and laboratory testing performed in-house, the review of your vaccination records, and your sealed Form I-693. Vaccinations and chest x-rays, if you turn out to need them, are not part of the $599 and are priced for you before anything is given. Most health insurance plans do not cover immigration medical exams, because they are required for an immigration benefit rather than for medical treatment. We accept cash and all major credit cards.

What if no times work, or I need to change my appointment?

Call or text (855) 755-1312 and we will find a time that works or move your existing appointment. If the scheduler above will not load in your browser, that is usually a browser extension or a network hiccup rather than a problem with your booking — the phone line books you in about a minute either way.

Where is the appointment, and what are your office hours?

Our office is at 842 Clifton Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013, in Passaic County, convenient to Routes 3, 46 and the Garden State Parkway. We are open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 3pm, and closed weekends. We regularly see applicants from across northern New Jersey and the wider Tri-State Area.

When will my sealed I-693 be ready after the appointment?

The in-office exam itself usually takes about 30 minutes, and Dr. Weiss completes the I-693 during that same visit — there is no second appointment. Your completed form is sealed in a USCIS-compliant envelope once all laboratory results have returned, typically within 5 to 7 business days, and we notify you for pickup or mailing.
